Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and biohazard handling procedures
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and timely arrivals
- Communicate with healthcare facilities regarding delivery status and special requirements
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for early morning/weekend shifts
