Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols for sensitive medical materials
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and DOT regulations during all deliveries
- Utilize GPS routing systems for efficient, time-sensitive deliveries
- Document delivery status and maintain electronic logs in real-time
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for seamless handoff procedures
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Pass background check and drug screening (DOT-compliant)
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time-management and route optimization skills
