Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard safety protocols
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for efficient pickups/deliveries
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks daily
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with immediate dispatch readiness
- Document all transport incidents and irregularities per company policy
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year medical or temperature-sensitive transport experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong time-management skills with strict adherence to delivery windows
- Background check and drug screening required
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL a plus
