Responsibilities
- Securely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive shipments using specialized equipment
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic tracking updates
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and safety regulations at all times
- Perform vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Communicate delivery status to dispatch and healthcare facility coordinators
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with time-sensitive urgency
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical certificate preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate medical facility layouts
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport a plus
- Proficient in electronic tracking systems and mobile technology
