Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment between medical facilities, labs, and hospitals.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive patient data.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and pickups using handheld GPS devices.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients at delivery points.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Handle cash and secure payment transactions when applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency with smartphone GPS applications and technology.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus but not required.
