Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, documents, and medical equipment safely and securely from medical facilities to laboratories and processing centers.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, handling bio-hazardous materials and sensitive documents with the utmost care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained delivery vehicle in compliance with company and health department standards.
- Verify patient and delivery information at each stop to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals, clinics, and patients during every interaction.
- Complete and submit daily delivery logs, mileage reports, and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries and optimal routing.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld devices or tablets.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo paid training regarding medical handling and safety compliance.
