Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens and documents to designated laboratories, hospitals, and medical facilities in and around Raleigh, NC.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols to ensure patient confidentiality and safe handling of biohazards.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is always road-ready.
- Manage delivery paperwork accurately, including logbooks and delivery confirmations, and submit them promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and facility security personnel at every stop.
- Adhere to time-sensitive delivery schedules to ensure lab results are processed correctly.
- Uphold a professional and clean appearance while representing MedSwift Logistics.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle (sedan, SUV, or cargo van) in good working condition with valid insurance.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25-50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex routing instructions.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and document submission.
- Must be available for varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
