Responsibilities
- Safe and Timely Delivery: Transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment to clinics, hospitals, and laboratories safely and within strict time windows.
- Document Handling: Maintain strict confidentiality when handling patient records and lab results, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is clean, safe, and in proper working order.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with facility staff and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth drop-offs and pickups.
- Route Management: Efficiently plan your daily routes to maximize delivery coverage while adhering to safety protocols.
- Record Keeping: Accurately complete delivery logs and paperwork for every shipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Vehicle Ownership: Reliable personal vehicle suitable for transporting medical supplies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle sensitive materials with extreme care and attention to detail.
- Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required by medical schedules.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
