Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and supplies between hospitals, clinics, and laboratories
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data handling
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely specimen integrity
- Manage efficient route planning to meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid New York driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation systems
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and navigate medical facility environments
- Reliable transportation to/from our training facility
- Commitment to punctuality and professional conduct
