Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, blood samples, and documents securely and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA and OSHA safety protocols to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Utilize handheld scanners and delivery software to log stops and update delivery status in real-time.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Interact professionally with healthcare partners, patients, and medical staff at drop-off locations.
- Ensure proper temperature control for sensitive medical shipments as required.
- Report any delivery issues or accidents immediately to the dispatch team.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong punctuality and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple stops efficiently.
- Basic computer proficiency and smartphone usage for navigation and logging.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Must be able to lift and carry packages up to 25 lbs occasionally.
