Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data confidentiality
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our tracking system
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for timely pickups and drop-offs
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper sanitation of transport equipment
- Communicate delivery status to dispatch and medical staff in real-time
- Follow all safety protocols for hazardous materials handling
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
