Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards for patient data protection
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for time-sensitive pickups and deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with flexibility and professionalism
- Train on specialized medical handling protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving or logistics experience
- OSHA bloodborne pathogens certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate tight spaces
- Proficiency with mobile technology and delivery apps
- Exceptional time management and route optimization skills
- Background check and drug screen required
- Experience with medical packaging and cold chain logistics preferred
