Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals using company-provided temperature-controlled containers
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data protection during transit
- Maintain precise delivery schedules with real-time GPS tracking via company-issued devices
- Perform pre/post-trip equipment inspections and documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for secure handoffs and specimen integrity
- Utilize company-provided navigation systems for optimized route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly (equipment provided)
- Basic medical terminology knowledge or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail for handling sensitive materials
- Reliable transportation to/from dispatch center (personal vehicle not needed for deliveries)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience in healthcare logistics preferred but not required
