Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and time-sensitive materials to local hospitals and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature controls for sensitive shipments using provided equipment
- Document delivery status and maintain detailed chain-of-custody records
- Perform pre-trip inspections of company-issued vehicles and medical equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and biohazard safety standards
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical background preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and handling protocols
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with route navigation apps and GPS systems
