Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between clinics, labs, and hospitals
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Document all deliveries with electronic tracking systems and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain clean, organized transport vehicles
- Adapt routes for urgent deliveries while maintaining safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- 1+ years experience in medical transport or logistics preferred
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and operate climate-controlled units
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening required
- Spanish bilingual a plus for El Paso community
