Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, vaccines, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data protection
- Optimize delivery routes to meet time-sensitive healthcare schedules
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and chain-of-custody records
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintenance as required
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with immediate availability
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years experience in medical or high-security logistics
- Proficient with GPS navigation and route optimization tools
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and biohazard handling protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate multi-story buildings
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred
