Responsibilities
- Transport time-sensitive medical specimens, blood products, and organs between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain complete confidentiality of patient data
- Manage efficient routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Document all transfers meticulously and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and resolve delivery issues proactively
- Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical transport certification preferred
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport and medical packaging
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate hospital environments safely
