Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment to healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic tracking
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while following traffic laws
- Perform vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs/medical facilities
- Proficient with GPS technology and mobile delivery apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of medical packaging and biohazard protocols
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
