Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, organs, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of courier equipment
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery scheduling
- Utilize GPS navigation to optimize routes while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners during critical transport scenarios
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical transport or logistics field
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
