Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient confidentiality
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with strict adherence to deadlines
- Respond professionally to client inquiries and resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Experience in medical logistics or healthcare transportation preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with mobile technology and GPS navigation
