Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks for local/regional routes within 200 miles of Phoenix
- Complete 10-12 daily deliveries with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Phoenix metro area and Arizona highways
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible availability for early morning starts
