Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers in accordance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Prepare and complete accurate delivery and pickup paperwork, including Bills of Lading.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record while adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Card (DOT physical) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends if necessary.
