Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local routes within Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, Hours of Service) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and receivers.
- Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required (Class B considered for some local routes).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
