Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on designated local routes.
- Deliver freight to customers in the Indianapolis metro area in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Complete all necessary daily logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean and presentable truck cab and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on safety and professionalism.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
