Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, adhering to weight and balance limits.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and comply with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Report maintenance issues and accidents immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and road safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
