Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery truck on assigned local routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using hand jacks or forklifts.
- Verify delivery receipts and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and resolve any delivery issues.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
