Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during each stop.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic, delays, or route changes.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) required (Class A with Local Experience a plus).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no DUIs or major moving violations).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Basic math skills for making change and handling cash.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
