Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in urban and rural environments.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring proper handling of cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills for logging and navigation systems.
