Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to residential and commercial customers on a designated route.
- Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, including tires, lights, and fluid levels, and report any maintenance needs.
- Provide excellent customer service, including courteous interactions and careful handling of cargo.
- Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and mileage records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, etc.).
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle type).
- A clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
