Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles along designated routes in Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper handling techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOLs, manifests).
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional route driver.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of local Long Beach traffic patterns and geography.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to safety.
