Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated customer locations within the Kansas City metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage and ensure accuracy of orders.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in the onboard system.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Clean driving record with no more than one moving violation in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the shift.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging delivery information.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
