Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles on assigned routes within the Milwaukee metro area.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures for all shipments.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve issues on the spot.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle size).
- Valid DOT Medical Card (Must be current).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred but not required for new grads).
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
