Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on designated local routes in and around Austin, TX.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks and pallet jacks, ensuring all freight is handled with care.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery points, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs for electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Ensure the vehicle interior and exterior are kept clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic computer literacy for using onboard navigation and logging systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
