Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to residential and commercial customers on assigned daily routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload trailers safely, ensuring cargo security and proper handling of packages.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Class B preferred for local).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of the Indianapolis area and local geography.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
