As a Local Route Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to and from local destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a pristine vehicle. This is a full-time position with immediate openings and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to transport products to designated locations within the Philadelphia area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and communicating effectively with clients.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Keep the vehicle and cargo area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Process paperwork accurately, including delivery receipts and mileage logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in local delivery or route driving is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift, carry, and push heavy items (up to 50-75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery software.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends as needed.
