As a Route Driver, you will be the face of our company, delivering top-notch service to businesses and residents across the Charlotte metro area. If you have a Class B CDL and a clean driving record, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated routes in the Charlotte area.
- Unload and load cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling billing and documentation accurately.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after routes.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable local driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
