Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated customers and locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or route delivery.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and delivery software.
- Basic English language proficiency for communication.
