Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on established routes throughout the San Jose area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and forklifts as necessary.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers and clients during every stop.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery receipts, and mileage records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Resolve delivery issues and customer complaints in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
