Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient delivery of goods to designated routes in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas.
- Inspect vehicles prior to and after shifts to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and vehicle condition reports.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle type).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar driving role.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to lift packages and operate in various weather conditions.
