Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in secure locations.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures where required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Provide professional customer service and answer any questions regarding packages.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries.
- Strong time management skills to meet strict delivery windows.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
