Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, food, and merchandise to designated locations within Washington DC
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse and delivery points
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to operate box trucks or cargo vans (commercial license a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metropolitan area geography
- Experience in package delivery, food delivery, or logistics preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Flexible availability including weekend and evening shifts
