Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Operate company vehicles to deliver products to residential and commercial locations within the St. Louis metro area.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handle cash/card transactions, and ensure a friendly unloading experience.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Efficiency: Follow designated routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and meet delivery windows.
- Load Management: Safely load and unload merchandise, including heavy items, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and daily reports.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUI in the last 3 years).
- Experience: Previous experience in local delivery or logistics is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various terrains.
- Availability: Must be available to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts available.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use a handheld scanner or mobile device.
- Residency: Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of St. Louis, MO.
