Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Los Angeles County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address client inquiries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and communicate delays proactively
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicle appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (delivery or commercial preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs/delivery obstacles
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles neighborhoods and major traffic patterns
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
