Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the New Orleans metro area.
- Load and unload merchandise using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate, complete, and signed for within the allotted time window.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
