Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within Sacramento County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize time efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delivery status or delays
- Represent the company professionally through courteous customer interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and basic warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Knowledge of Sacramento area streets and neighborhoods preferred
