Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to customers within Oakland and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our mobile tracking system
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to operate vehicles up to 10,000 GVW (box trucks, vans)
- Strong knowledge of Oakland/Bay Area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and handle various package sizes
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
