Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages, food, or retail goods within San Diego County
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle returns professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update inventory systems in real-time
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions or delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Reliable personal vehicle (or access to one) with valid insurance
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
