Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of parcels to residential and commercial clients within the Plano area.
- Inspect delivery vehicles before and after shifts to ensure they are clean, safe, and in proper working condition.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Utilize mobile applications and handheld scanners to update delivery status and manage paperwork efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections to identify any mechanical issues before driving.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Access to a reliable vehicle suitable for local delivery (if company vehicle not provided).
- Comfortable using smartphone technology for navigation and delivery confirmation.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
