Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages throughout Chicago metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery time windows
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile application
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must reside within 30 miles of Chicago city center
