Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van or box truck to transport merchandise to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle delivery inquiries professionally.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience in a local delivery role.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local Orlando streets and traffic patterns.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery software.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
